1984 JEEP CJ-8 SCRAMBLER. TRUCK CAME FROM CALIFORNIA SO IT IS 100% RUST FREE! IT IS A 1 OWNER WITH A CLEAN HISTORY INCLUDING NO ACCIDENTS. YES. IT HAS LIVED IT'S WHOLE LIFE IN CALIFORNIA! IT SEEMS TO BE ALL MOSTLY ORIGINAL. WE BOUGHT THIS JEEP FROM A NEW CAR STORE OUT IT CALIFORNIA WHERE IT WAS TRADED IN.

DRIVE TRAIN: 4. 2 6CYL 258CI MOTOR ALONG WITH THE 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION. IT IS ALL FACTORY EQUIPPED WITH NO AFTERMARKET OR PERFORMANCE PARTS. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT HAS DONE A COMPLETE MAINTENANCE INCLUDING ALL FLUIDS AND FILTERS. FEATURES POWER STEERING ALONG WITH FRONT DISC BRAKES. IT RUNS. DRIVES. AND RIDES GREAT WITH NO ABNORMAL ISSUES. THE CLUTCH ALONG WITH THE TRANSMISSION HAS NO ISSUES. THE 4X4 DOES WORK AND THE FRONT HUBS DO LOCK/UNLOCK EASILY. YOU CAN DRIVE THIS ANYWHERE. NO NEED TO TRAILER IT HOME!

EXTERIOR: FEATURES HARD TOP ALONG WITH FULL HARD DOORS. ALSO FEATURES THE FACTORY WARN WINCH MOUNTED UP FRONT. BUT I DO NOT HAVE THE REMOTE. THE FACTORY WHEELS ARE WRAPPED IN RADIAL TIRES WITH 90% TREAD. THE WHEELS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE WITH NO RUST. IM NOT A JEEP GUY. BUT NOTHING REALLY SEEMS TO BE MISSING. IT LOOKS TO BE ALL HERE. PREVIOUS OWNER DID A HALF FAST PAINT JOB ON IT. THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL COLOR OR PAINT. THE ORIGINAL COLOR IS CINNAMON METALLIC. THE ORIGINAL COLOR AND PAINT IS STILL ON THE INTERIOR. ENGINE BAY. FIRE WALL. UNDERSIDE. ETC. THE FACTORY TEXTURED FINISH HARD TOP HAS BEEN PAINTED BODY COLOR. THERE IS SOME OVERSPRAY ON MISC TRIM PIECES FROM WHERE THEY DID NOT MASK OFF. THE PAINT HAS SOME ORANGE PEAL ALONG WITH SOME DIRT IN IT. A GOOD WET SAND AND BUFF IT WOULD CLEAN UP. IT HAS SOME DINGS. DENTS. ETC. ALONG WITH THERE IS SOME DAMAGE ON THE TAIL GATE. HOWEVER. YOU WILL NOT FIND A SPEC OF RUST ANYWHERE ON THIS JEEP! THERE HAS BEEN NO PREVOUS RUST REPAIR EAITHER. ALL THE PANELS SEEM TO BE ORIGINAL AS WELL. I REMOVED THE DIAMOND PLATE TRIM ON THE ROCKER ON ONE SIDE TO SHOW THERE IS NO RUST UNDERNEATH IT. I DO HAVE THE CENTER CAP FOR THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL THAT IS MISSING IN THE PICTURE. THIS IS BY FAR A SHOW JEEP. JUST A REAL NICE DRIVER OR A GREAT STARTER FOR SOMEONE LOOKING TO RESTORE IT.

INTERIOR: ORIGINAL LOW BACK BUCKET SEATS WITH CONSOLE. ALL THE GAUGES ALONG WITH HEAT/FAN CONTROLS WORK. THERE IS A SWICH EMBLEM THAT IS MISSING. THE FACTORY IGNITION KEY IN THE COLUMN IS BROKE AND HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH ONE IN THE DASH. THE RADIO ALONG WITH EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS AS IT SHOULD. THE SOFT TOP BAG IS MOUNTED BEHIND THE SEATS. HOWEVER. I DO NOT HAVE THE SOFT TOP. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. THE ROCKERS AND FLOORS ARE PERFECT WITH NO RUST. ALL THE BOOKS AND RECORDS ARE IN THE GLOVE BOX. ALL THE GAUGE LIGHTS. RUNNING LIGHTS. AND TRAILER LIGHTS WORK.
