This is a very nice 1962 Oldsmobile "98" convertible. It is black with a dark gray/light gray leather interior. It has virtually every major option except air conditioning. The options are: Power Steering. Power Brakes. Power Windows. Power Seat. Power Antenna. Wonderbar Radio. Safety Sentinal and Autronic Eye. It is a very solid no rust car. The history as I know it is that a lady from New York who also had a home in Florida bought the car and kept it at her home in Florida. She supposedly had the car for a very long time and sold it to a man in Georgia who later sold it to a dealer in the Atlanta area. I bought it from the dealer. I purchased the car August 28. 2012. When I purchased it it had an after market carburetor and air cleaner. The originals were in the trunk. I'm very much a purist so I immediately had the original carburetor rebuilt and installed it along with the air cleaner. I also pulled the radiator and had it recored and reinstalled.

There are 2 cracks in the padded dash. To my knowledge the entire drive train is original. I also have the owners manual. convertible top manual and the warranty protection booklet with the protecto-plate. The mileage showes 41. 76. I do not know if this is original or not. It certainly doesn't look like 141. 00 but I don't know. The car runs and drives great. It just floats down the highway. I believe you could drive this car anywhere. The top is excellent and works flawlessly. All the bright work is very nice. The original trunk kit is still in the car and does show some wear but it is 51 years old. All the glass is very nice and all the power windows work. I am selling the car because I'm a bit overwhelmed. I have 17 cars and 2 of them are 62 Starfire convertibles.
