1960 Ford Thunderbird. V 8 Automatic. with a factory sunroof.

History: Car was purchased as a project by an older gentleman. He was a customers father. He had the body of the car reparied and painted a few years ago. After he passed away his family now wants to sell the car. I don't think the car was rusted out. floors all look solid. door bottoms are clean. frame looks solid no rotted areas or rusted areas. I make no: "it's all original claim" As far as I can tell the car has its original engine. transmission and rear differential. However you can verify numbers-codes if you wish. Car does not appear to be ever wrecked or seriously damaged. I'm sure 57 years has yielded some body work needs. The color is not original. Interior is in "good" condition. Glass is decent.

Chrome is decent has some crazing and discoloration. Emblems and trim have been replaced as needed. Sold as is.

The never ending process of tinkering and detailing continues. Of recent brakes were serviced. master cylinder. booster. brake hoses and some lines were replaced. Rebuilt starter. Parts used were available reproductions from the T-Bird specialty guys. Also new repro antenna and glove box liner. Car is sold "as is" it will pass State Safety Inspection.

Because of the few rotten apples out there we have to tell you about our “terms of the auction. ” The winning bidder must submit a $500 deposit through Pay Pal within 24 hours of the auction ending. Once you submit the deposit. please call our office at . We are open by appointment and will respond timely. You can leave a voice message after hours I will return calls. Full payment must be made within 72 hours of the auction closing or at time arrangement to pick-up car are made. If you need more time to make the final payment please call us. We may require partial payment to hold longer. Otherwise sale will be cancelled and deposit lost and item relisted on the close of business after 72 hours of sale.

If you would like to have a local mechanic take a look they are welcome to set up an appointment also. As with anything used. there will be some scuffs. scratches and signs of wear and tear. We try to list as much of the obvious as possible but leave some room for human error. We are happy to take any additional pictures of specific items if that makes you happy.

MOST of the time we do not get all of the service records. keys. etc. We are happy to assist you with transport arrangements we DO NOT ship cars.
