Faults:
~ Slight wear on the base of the driver's seat
~ The economy gauge does not work
~ The 2nd key fob will need reprogramming to the car
~ Minor rust bubbles near the antenna. RHS rear wheel arch and on the bottom edges on a few of the other wheel arches.

I've fully removed and restored the front seat mechanisms and have photographs to prove that there is no rust in the front or rear foot wells.

The Sub-frame cracking (Which was fully replaced) was a common fault in these early 80's models and the cost of replacement used to be a Mercedes Benz factory recall expense. But they will not cover them any more due to the age of the vehicles. so it's a costly and major job to fix if you have to do it yourself. I had the sub-frame. new engine mounts. front bushes. steering arms and anti-roll bar bushes all supplied by the SL Shop and fitted by a professional mechanic in Ross-On-Wye.

There is no Major rust as is common with this make and model.

The paintwork is in very good condition and the car is mechanically excellent. it starts first time every time and it drives. handles and brakes perfectly.

I'm only selling this car as our new house does not have enough space to keep 3 cars (as I always like to keep my vehicles garaged). We also plan to use the money to build a Summer house/Gym in the back garden. so my weekend toy has to go.
