General Motors has always been proud of their truck lineup and have every reason to be this way. The GMC Truck marque first made its appearance at the New York Auto Show in 1912. GMC produced just 372 units that year. That was the beginning of a much larger vision as GMC has been a leading truck manufacturer for now over 100 years. In 1916, a GMC truck crossed the country from Seattle to New York City in thirty days. 10 years later, a 2-ton GMC truck drove from New York City to San Francisco is just 5 days. During the second world war, GMC produced over 600, 000 trucks for use by the United States Armed Forces. GMC has remained synonymous with the word truck and to this day builds the best in the business.

Offered for sale here is a one of a kind! This 1959 GMC 250 Series pick up truck is just plain cool. It is left very original in appearance but has been updated and made much more useable. The owner transplanted the body on top of a 2008 Chevy 1500 van chassis which has an automatic transmission with a V6. Other highlights include Lokar floor shifter, 9 foot bed, Body color factory 16 inch steel wheels, power brakes, power steering Classic Instruments gauges. This is an excellent running, driving and handling example!
