Very hard to find 1972 Dodge Demon. It had a non professional restoration a few years ago. but has been garaged ever since. This is how I bought it. as the owners health failed when he was done. so it just sat in his garage. I'm going to tell you everything he told me. I just bought it for resale as I have many more classic cars. so here we go.  It was repainted the original Mopar color BLUE STREAK. I had to look it up myself. but there was such a color. The painter did a very decent job as there are no runs anywhere I can see. and I just did a quick spray wax job to make it shine. He stated he found a blue 1971 parts car and stole the original blue hood from it. This would explain the twin hood scoops on the 71 only. The hood is original color and is just slightly lighter in color than the new paint. The engine is a 1974 Dodge 360 LA. four barrel. completely rebuilt. with very few miles on it. The odometer says 99. 00 miles on it. but very few of those since restored. Probably less than 500 miles on the engine.  He said he put some high performance parts in the engine. and it does sound very good. doesn't smoke or leak oil. It has headers with stainless exhaust that comes out in front of the rear tires. Exhaust is still in great shape. Has an awesome rumble to it. The 727 torqueflight transmission was supposedly rebuilt also. and shifts fine and strong. The automatic shifter was originally on the steering column but it now has a floor mounted B&M shifter.  The new tires are a few years old. but have very few miles on them and all the tread left. Original Demon wheels. The rear end is 8 3/4 inch sure grip. hich I was told was original to the car. Not sure the gear ratio. No PS or PBs. The front right brake pulls hard when brakes applied. I have help coming to fix this before auction is over. Other than that. it drives ok. Also. I have to tell you it has a few small hail dings on top. Apparently he painted right over them. I didn't notice them till I got it home. All glass is in excellent shape. and door windows roll down easily. It has the original quarter glass in the back. The trunk is in great shape. with the spare tire under the carpet. It also has new coil over shocks front and back. As you can see. the car has a whole new interior in it. New black carpet. recovered original seats. professionally done. new dash pad. and the headliner looks like brand new although he said it was original. Nothing on the dash was modified. and everything works. Has a Grant GT steering wheel. New seat belts. All the lights and turn signals work great. Mechanically this car is in good shape. and looks very decent. It could use new bumpers or have them rechromed. as they are very dull. New ones are on Ebay. Same ones used on Dusters. The frame on this car is very good. but the underside was neglected during frame on restoration. It's scaly but not rusty. Also the inner fenders don't look very nice. with some metal patches. And I have to let you know the drivers side door jam has a rusty latch that could use a little welding. It's not the lock on the door. but the steel "knob" that the lock bumps into to keep the door closed. It works and closes just fine but there is painted over rust around the "knob". Sorry. nbsp;don't know what to call it. This is not a show car yet. but with a little more work it could be. The Demons were only made in 71 and 72. so they are very rare. I've never seen one at any of the hundreds of car shows I've attended. This car has had a lot of work done on it. and is probably worth much more than my reserve. But I just bought two more classics and am totally out of storage. I am always open to offers or trades. so don't be afraid to ask. I'm also into classic Kawasakis such as Triples and Z1s. pre 1975. Email pics if you have trades. Or cash offer is what I like best. I can have this car delivered anywhere in the U. S. and even overseas. But I will not release the car and title until I am paid in full. I do not use paypal . so it will have to be a certified bank check. or better yet. immediate bank to bank wire transfer. This I would prefer. as it takes 7 days for any check to clear my bank. and YES. I have had one that was fraudulent. So I am very carefull before releasing a vehicle. If you are picking it up personally I require cash only. If you're going to take longer than three days to pick it up. I'll still require a $500 deposit. I can store it for a couple weeks. but then it has to be PAID IN FULL first. Any way you are paying. if it's taking longer than 3 days. I need that $500 deposit or the car goes to the next guy. If you really want it before this auction is over. just make a decent offer. I just may take it. Ask any questions by email. I'll try to answer all. I can supply my phone # if you want to talk or come buy it. I don't have a ridiculous reserve. and actually way less than it's worth. Oh yea. the stereo works too. Thank you for looking. and may God bless you all.   Richard at Motorcycle Missions  My zip: 45859
