1958 Edsel Citation for sale

1958 Edsel Citation restored about 3 years ago.  Runs and shifts well.  Purchased from private owner in Nevada--car had nothing but very minor surface rust on arrival.  Originally all white--had it repainted with aqua roof and scallops.  Even though both engine and transmission were rebuilt. the car does have a leaky main seal but not enough that you must frequently add oil. just need a mat under it in the garage.  Rubber encircling the teletouch transmission selector in center of steering wheel is bubbled but not peeling.  "Pickles". the decorative emblem at rear of side scallops. are not perfect but presentable.  Interior is beautifully redone.   Radio does work.  Please ask any questions.  I am in contact with an interested party and reserve right to end auction early.  Buyer must arrange shipment or pick up in Chicagoland area.

Just a few more details that I feel I should mention.  The front and rear bumpers were rechromed and all the stainless trim was polished and are in great shape.  There is pitting on other surfaces including but not limited to (going by memory) wheel covers. mirrors. decorative Edsel marker above trunk below back window and the front grills. not including the horseshoe which is in great shape.   I can try to take additional pictures of these or any parts of the car you want to or cannot already see in the listed pics if you message me.   I do have extra parts--mirrors. grills. fuel pump that go with the car.

The car does have power steering and brakes. I don't have a spare tire but I have some spare rim(?s) that may fit this car that I'm willing to include in the sale. The tires will need replacement sometime in the near future-the ones it has are in good shape but quite old.   I would not drive across state on these but I frequently did from car show to car show without concern.  The car was restored at Custom Cars in Chicagoland.  See their web site at customcarsunlimited. com
