This 57 Chevy is a true V8 Belair and had all those upgrades to make it a cool street car… The old 283 have been replaced with a 350 small block coupled to a 700r 4 speed automatic so you get a nice power range with highway gearing which makes it all nicer to cruise and more economical. the feel of the Belair is improved dramatically with an upgraded 605 power steering box. so it's no old ram assist steer any more. it has tubular control arms on the front and drop spindles so you get all the same suspension travel but again with a better and more modern feel. Air conditioning keeps you cool in the cabin and a tilt steering column give you a choice of steering positions… The Chevy has lots of newer chrome and stainless around it and has had it's resto about 12 years ago over a super solid body. This is a really clean street car. it's been built to use and cruse and has been. if you want a car you can take and cruise every day and wash it on the weekends to show and shine it this would it.
