1991 Chevrolet Camaro for sale
Current customer rating:
Let me make clear first that this car is located at my home in Florida.
It is owned by a friend of mine who lives in Chattanooga. TN.
He shipped his 1991 Camaro Z 28 to me to do some minor refreshening up of the car. partial respray (see explanation below) and some minor mechanical work.
Has has since decided to get serious about selling the car as his life circumstances have recently changed.
He asked me to list the Camaro for him and I have in my possession the clear and free TN title that he has signed over. This is a 3 owner 91 Z 28 (counting current owner) (carfax shows 2 owners). with a very pampered 77. 20 miles on the odometer.
In addition to the originality
and
cleanliness of this car. my friend has included the following documentation: window
sticker. dealer invoice. original build sheet. owners manual. facory brochure and even the space saver spare tire pamphlet
Almost everything looks as it did new. right down to the original GM carpeted floor mats and perfect condition dash pad! (That is a rarity on it's own!) A partial respray limited to the hood and roof were needed due to peeling as a result of the poor quality primer used by GM in the late 80's thru the mid 90's.
The rest of the cars original paint looked great. The hood and roof were stripped and repainted with color matched White Nason finish.
The Camaro Car has never had any kind of damage or been involved in any type of accident.
The only rust is minor surface rust on the suspension. but otherwise the car is totally rust free.
Other work that has been done is a new water pump. new fuel pump. a flowmaster muffler installed. he rear hatch assembly was rebuilt with a new kit. nd had a new Idle air control sensor installed. receipts for all of this work are in the car.
Here is a little history of the car given to my friend from the original owner••••• This 1991 Chevrolet Camaro was originally purchased in July of 1991 at Paramount Chevrolet (Clippinger Chevrolet was a short distance away so probable dealer transfer) in Downey California by Jim Joyce.
Jim traded in his 1975 Corvette Stingray for it when he had seen it on the dealership lot.
The car was purchased in CA. driven for 2 months and trailered up to Idaho in September 1991 .
Jim's wife. Pam Joyce. a school teacher. used the Camaro as a daily driver to an elementary school about a mile each way which accounts for the low mileage.
Pam drove the car for nearly 14 years until it was given to their son. James Joyce . for his 25 th birthday. The Camaro was driven sparingly to car shows and cruise nights and always garaged.
When James turned 30 he had lost interest in the car and was starting a business so it was sold.
On Apr-07-17 at 16:22:05 PDT. seller added the following information:
I also want to add that the carpet dash cover is only there for protection. here are no cracks in the dash pad hiding underneath of it. This is a g 80 option 5 spd car which was actually a little quicker than the 350 automatic cars. It is kept inside a garage at all times and maintained. Everything works from cruise control. ir conditioning and factory radio.
