Unlike other 240/260s on the market. this is not someone's rusted out hulk with all the good bits scavenged and a floor that gives you the option to power the car with your feet while saying yabba dabba doo.  
This car is complete. correct and drives really well. happily cruising at speeds that keep state governments cashed up and corners like it's on rails. It is a practical. economical classic that is ready to drive daily with its L28 engine.
The engine starts easily and runs well. giving off a puff of smoke on start up due to valve stem seals hardening over time.  
In contrast. with most other 260s. this car is in un-ravaged condition. Fortunately. it has not suffered the indignation of a boy racer "upgrade. " It has been kept as original as possible. As with all collectibles. an unmodified Zed rewards its owners as a sound investment and exceptional potential for future appreciation.  
For the Datsun connoisseur. the 260z 2+2 is known as the rarest of all Zeds. representing a little over 11% of global production. You also get two almost usable extra seats in the back. As well as factory air conditioning. better handling than the early model's thanks to improved brakes. a more rigid chassis and sway bars front and rear.  
With a wealth of online resources and no end of quality reproduction parts. this 260z will be an easy car to maintain and will be a quick one to restore. This car gives you such a good starting point. returning it to pristine condition will not be a challenge.
