1961 Dodge Pioneer 2 door Hardtop - This style Pioneer was only produced for one year and continues to be very sought after for its very unusual fins. angles and art deco styling.
This Pioneer is equipped with an original 318 Cu in. V 8. Factory Power Steering and very rare Factory Power Brakes ( power brake booster and wheels cylinders
recently rebuilt).
Car also has working Factory AM Radio.
This is truly an Arizona survivor car.
It has spent all its life in Arizona except for the last 2 years. when the previous owner moved to FL.
The paint is about 7 years old and shows very well with only a few wear and age flaws.
The body. floor pans. and trunk pans are rust free. and very solid. (See pictures) All glass is good and roll up and down smoothly. All electrical components work properly including the gas gauge. wipers. lights. AM Radio. etc.
The interior was renewed about 4 years ago and is very nice.
New seat covers. headliner and carpet was installed.
I recently added the New Polished Coys 18 in. and 20 in. wheels and new speed rated radial tires. (Original wheels. new WSW radials and original factory hub caps are available if you prefer. ) I also lowered the Pioneer about 2 inches. giving the Pioneer a great stance.
This Dodge runs. drives and stops great.
You will be proud to own. drive and show this unusual classic.
