Fabulous 1967 Farina Morris Oxford . Stunning !!

 

The previous owner used this old girl everyday in all weathers and it never let him down.  

 

The following is a very accurate and honest description of the car and I would urge interested buyers to snap up this car as quick as you can. You will honestly not be disappointed in this very striking piece of British motoring history.  Needs nothing more than a new owner.  

 

Bodywork.

Stunning gleaming paintwork and solid body panels needing no work what so ever. Purists may however want to paint the engine bay. as it's a bit faded and dirty from 46 years of use.   The interior of boot is also clean and rust free with just the scars of years of luggage etc.   Underbody and chassis is very clean with no work required with exception of maybe some additional waxoly treatment. Yes. the car is as good as the photographs.  

 

Interior

The leather seats are very good and have no damage. a little bit faded as expected but clean and original. The headlining is undamaged and original. I have replaced the carpets with new ones at a cost of  (£300) as the originals were faded and dirty. the soundproofing has also been renewed.   All gauges. switches and lights work. as they should. with exception to the time clock. which I suspect just needs cleaning.  

 

Mechanicals

This old Morris is a delight to drive with no smoke. rattles or over heating. In fact I recently covered a 100 miles in 30 degrees and the temperature remained normal.   The car pull's very well and is also very quiet and the brakes are excellent.  The tyres are almost brand new and the exhaust isnt very old either.  The car fires up with half choke and one turn of the key. shortly after settles to a quiet tick over.  

 

Chrome

Bumpers. badges and side trims are all very nice. however the boot chrome strip is very tired and I'm hoping to find one for the new owner. Apart from this the trim is all very good and I've replaced the wing mirrors with brand new ones.  

 

The car also comes with a long MOT and tax

 

I require £500 deposit at the end of the auction. this is to avoid non genuine bidders so serious enquiries only.
