Current customer rating:
57 Chevy 210 post.
First things first. Car runs and drives. Got this Chevy 2&1/2 years ago. Took 2 years to get to this stage. Dad is moving and so my free work place and storage is going as well. Positives: Straight body. doors line up and go "click" All new body mounts. trim. shocks( all 4) new springs up front. Front drums swapped for disc. All new side glass. All new weather stripping. Windows work roll up and down. New windshield wipers and motor. Power brakes. Reupholstered front and back original seats. New carpet. New floor pans up front. New wire harnesses. All lights work. All original gauges work. Vintage radio works. 350 Chevy hooked up to a 3 speed automatic transmission. 12 bolt rear end off a 67 chevelle. New wheels and tires.
The negatives: painted with urethane flat black(I am learning no one but me likes) few chips. I can send pictures. Some surface rust on chrome. Passenger side rocker has some bondo but was done well. Engine and transmission are strong. Problem is that it's geared too high. Only dose about 50 mph. A fourth gear or overdrive is needed. Starter is going to need to be replaced but works most of the time. Still gaps in fire wall so hot air will blow in when engine is warm. Did the chrome deletes on the windows which I'm finding is unpopular. After sandblasting found I needed to reinforce parts of trunk with fiberglass. No A/C or heater.
Some rust pits around front window but would be covered with chrome. At the end of the day I sunk over 30 k in this car. Didn't want to sell but I am loosing my workspace. Buyer pays shipping. Title is free and clear. Vin tag matches title. I will be happy to answer any questions. Unless its to buy it for less than 10. Good luck!
