Hey. look at that nice Chevelle!! This 1964 Buick Skylark up for sale at Blad Boys Muscle Cars. usually get's that reaction until you see the Buick Emblem on the front. This rust free Skylark has been a proud member of the State of California for almost all it's life. Only in the recent year has the car been prowling the Buckeye state. In 64. 2 engines and 3 HP options were available. The V6 225 and the 300. One V8 rated at 210HP and a higher compression version pushing 250. Well folks. this one doesn't have any of the three offered. Peel the hood open on this baby and what stares you in the face is nothing more than 472 cubic inches of Cadillac power. You heard it right. Implanted between the fenders is a high torque. big displacement Caddy that qualifies this ride as the quintessential "Sleeper". The engine was freshly built 3 years ago. A few upgrades have been made since moving to the East coast. Upgraded Edelbrock Carb. additional cooling fan to keep the temp gauge down. A billet chassis mounted transmission cooler. electronic ignition and a differential rebuilt installing a 3:08 gear for better highway cruising. Don't worry about the torque rating being affected by the change. She still has plenty to give. The stylish black interior is in beautiful condition and retains it's stock look from the front seat to the rear. Notice that unusual center console. This is distinct to Buick and is very modern looking for it's time. This is not the car for the faint of heart. nor the mainstream Camaro. Mustang. Chevelle owner. This is a ride for the person that dares to be different. yet wants to pack a punch when hitting the gas. Rust free Skylarks in this shape do not come along very often. Especially having Cadillac performance for power.
