1962 Plymouth Sport Fury with authentic max wedge eng/trans for sale
Current customer rating: (588 votes ) based onA general overview: NOTE; THE PICS ARE A LARGE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION OF THE CAR.
The paint is an 8-9 out of ten. there are no flaws. scratch's. etc. . and has excellent reflection and shine.
The interior is all original and is a 9 out of 10. There are no rips. tears. seam separation. discoloration. or odors.
The glass is all good. No cracks. haze or chips.
The suspension is rebuilt to where anything out of tolerance was replaced. such as ball joints. tie rods (ends). bushings. springs. etc.
The brakes were rebuilt. new master. wheel cyl. shoes. and any bad lines.
The exhaust is full max wedge with electric cuts outs i installed. It gets old crawling under the car.
The engine was owned and built by Dick Landy at his shop in CA. as was the trans. There are no issues with the motor/trans. I have the build sheet and dyno pull sheet if i could figure out how to scan the damn thing. The cam is now hyd. compression 9. 3. runs on 93 octane. The dyno pulls are right at 500 HP and 500 torque. and the car pulls hard to 6200 rpm.
The rear is an 8 3/4" with 3. 91 gears. It is not the original tapered axle rear. It is stronger.
The wheels are original 1962 magnesium front and steel rear. The tires are virtually new Mickey Thompson.
There is no power anything. there is no radio. no heater.
This car is alot of fun to drive. I just take it to local cruises and out on an occasional nice day.
It should be noted that with the exhaust cut outs open the car is extremely loud. This is a large motor and steep cam. You will rattle windows. frighten parents. and scare small children and animals.
I have many other pics. This is the max i could upload for the ad.
BUGEYE666 is a DEAD BEAT EBAYER. BEWARE
I ENCOURAGE ANYONE SERIOUSLY INTERESTED TO ASK QUESTIONS AND COME LOOK AT THE CAR. I WILL SPEAK ON THE PHONE AFTER AN INITIAL EMAIL. I WILL NEED 1-2 DAYS NOTICE AS THE CAR IS STORED AND CANNOT BE VIEWED WITHOUT GETTING IT OUT. I WILL WORK WITH ANY SHIPPER AFTER THE CAR IS PAID FOR. TITLE IS FREE AND CLEAR.
THANK YOU
