You are bidding on a rare 1975 Maserati Merak. It is a museum quality time capsule. The car has been sitting in a garage since 1988 and periodically started for pure pleasure only. All paperwork and documented history recorded. Everything is all there and original except for the repaint. It was recently repainted and looks of high quality. There is one issue of rust on the driver rear wheel well but
considering the age of the car. this is not major. It is very difficult to see on the picture. The engine runs well and had a recent tune up done. The seats and interior look good considering the age. The car shifts nice (clutch and realease beraing replaced) and has great response under acceleration. The hydraulic system works well. all headlights go up and down. brakes work good. The car has original patina to wheels with decals still attached and were not retouched to keep originality. The car was only painted and appropriately serviced. All hoses replaced. ew distributor cap and oil was just changed. Major service in access of $5. 00. 00 all documented. The only thing that does not work is the clock in the dash and the speedometer is off . nd ac needs to be recharged due to r12 . This is considered minor for a 38 year old maserati.
