For sale is this Austin A70 4 door Hereford model sedan. possibly a 1953 build. CHASSIS NUMBER:   153958ENGINE NUMBER:    1b204797BODY NUMBER:         042946VEHICLE NUMBER:  70/5330. This vehicle was last registered in July. 1971.  It appears to be 99% complete with the rear windscreen and air cleaner in the boot compartment.  All the doors appear dry with no serious rust or rust holes.  The guards appear relatively rust free and all the glass and chromework is there. The engine is only missing the distributor cap and leads and the air feed hose has perished.   There appears to be nothing tampered with or removed from the engine or engine bay.  The interior is tatty but mostly all there.  I haven't looked too hard at the floor pans or removed the front carpet. This old girl spent her retirement in a dry a paddock west of Dubbo until I rescued it several years ago.  I have cleaned it up as best I can.  I believe it to be a Hereford but I don't know enough about Austins to confirm this. If you are looking for a Austin donor car. a spare car or a restoration project then this is the car for you. No warranty on this vehicle. implied or inferred and the pictures form part of the description. Transport can be arranged at buyers expense but cost negotiable depending on distance.
