Autobianchi Bianchina (Quattroposti) Fiat 500F Based for sale
Current customer rating: (466 votes ) based onAutobianchi Bianchina (Quattroposti) Berlina Saloon (Fiat 500F Based) – 1965 LHD – Time Warp – Museum Exhibit!
Winter Sale @ £7. 50!
This highly desirable time warp Autobianchi Bianchina is based on the running gar of the legendary Fiat 500 ‘F' model. but being the more refined & expensive option & has just been directly imported from the Fiat 500 Museum in Garlenda. Italian Riviera Ligure. Italy. where it has been exhibited for a number of years!
This unique & stunning example is a 1965 LHD model with 46. 00 miles (75KMs) showing & is unrestored & original – Time warp!
It presents with the correct amount of patina for its age & even wears the original 1965 supplying dealer bumper sticker (Commissionaria Autobianchi. Gino Nanni. Pistoria. Italalia).
It has only had 2 owners from new. hence the mileage can be verified & is finished in the attractive period shade of light grey with a blue interior piped with black.
The vehicle is fitted with its original 499cc engine which was rebuilt. due to the gaskets becoming brittle & was bored from 67. 4mm to 70mm to give it a little more power & make it a pleasure to drive in modern traffic conditions. We can confirm this vehicle drives as new & is surprising sprightly with a crisp accurate gear change.
The vehicle is totally standard & original. a real unrepeatable example. it even wears the original engine & windscreen stickers & is certainly one for the purists. It was fully checked & overhauled prior to going into the museum; the works included a full overhaul of the braking system complete. wiring system. steering & clutch.
The bodywork. bumpers & all external features are totally original & period correct. as well as the interior which is original & just splendid on the eye. The body work & floor pans show no signs of any rust & are all as they left the factory. In fact it looks as good underneath as it does on the top!
The only non original element of the vehicle is some paint work retouches which were done by the museum prior to exhibiting.
It's probably the best example in the UK. if not Europe. has been correctly stored & exhibited by people who know the marquee. This is a collectors opportunity and a superb investment & hence this cheeky chappy is now UK registered. MOT'd & being offered for sale for only the third time in its life to date.
We have not seen the need to further enhance this example. as it is all just so correct. We have however had all the chrome work repolished. machine polished the external paintwork. fitted new period number plates with correct number plate surround. adjusted the steering geometry. supplied a fresh MOT and conducted a multipoint check and given the cheeky little chap a full service just to be sure! The car is on the button. very quick. very reliable & ready to go…
Finished in the period shade of Fiat Grigio Chiaro (615) paintwork with a stunning blue interior piped black. including matching door cards & roof lining panel. with the original blue period full mat set!

The Autobianchi Bianchina is a supermini produced by the Italian car manufacturer Autobianchi. Based on the Fiat 500F. it was available in various configurations: Berlina (Saloon). Cabriolet (roadster). Tranformabile (Convertible). Panoramica (Station wagon) & Furgoncino (van). The car was presented to the public on 16th September 1957 at the Museum of Science & Technology in Milan.
Initially the car was equipped with the smallest Fiat engine. air-cooled 479cc producing 15hp. But in 1959 the engine power was increased to 17hp & later again to 499cc – 18hp. In 1965 a minor facelift was made as shown on this example.
This cheeky chappie is great fun & the quickest driving 500 variant we have ever offered. it drives & feels as new. These models are very rare & ever increasing in value & hence a great investment. I actually have a light blue 1964 500D that makes up part of my own private collection & every body loves it! If I don't sell the Autobianchi. I will part with the 500D & keep this pretty little car as it's more unique & better to drive than the 500D. Our classic Fiats are recommended by the UK's leading classic Fiat parts specialist Ricambio International Ltd. This Bianchina always puts a smile on my face. plus you don't need to worry about the rising petrol prices – Just enjoy!
