Or feel free to text me This J 40 is a unique one. The previous owner is a tall 6'7". so he had the bench seat modified into two buckets with longer rails. It originally had an F 1 engine with a three-on-the-tree (a three speed manual transmission on the steering column). but the previous owner swapped it out for a more driveable combination out of a '78 FJ which is an F 2 motor with four on the floor. The three speed required you to double clutch to downshift. and top running speed was about 50 mph. The new engine and trans makes this much more driveable. Only Toyota parts were used to keep the epic durability and capability of these vehicles.

All work was done at the legendary Iron Pig Off Road - FJ specialists in Fredericksburg. VA.
