You are viewing an extremely rare 1957 Oldsmobile Starfire 98 Holiday Coupe. equipped with it's original #'s matching Rocket 371 V8 with the rare J2 Tripower option. original 4 speed Hydramatic transmission. This car was purchased from an estate collection and has been in a climate controlled building since 1983. The car was only driven on special occasions. 62. 00 original miles.  

A complete reengineering greeted the Oldsmobile fans in 1957 with a retrograde three-piece rear window treatment. Again the top of the line Oldsmobile was body style 98 series. this year officially titled Starfire 98. Standard equipment included armrests. turn signals. rubber floor mats. sun visors. front fender chrome script. exposed chrome roof bows. side interior courtesy lights. electric windows. special emblems. power steering. power brakes. and Jetaway Hydramatic.

The car was painted Sierra Gold on its original rustfree laser straight sheet metal. The paint is mirror deep and perfectly flat. the paint job is gorgeous. The bumpers have been re-chromed. new emblems & weather stripping. The interior has a new headliner and carpet with original seats which still look great.

The car fires up effortlessly with 2 pumps of the gas and settles into a smooth idle & when you kick in the tri-power she goes! No smoke or odd noises at all. The car is smooth! The transmission shifts through all the gears smoothly. the brakes have been rebuilt and they will stop you on a dime. Suspension is tight.  Dual exhaust exit out the back.

This is a highly sought after top of the line car that runs and drives the way it should. You would be hard pressed to find a more original or nicer 1957 98 unrestored and unmolested.
