For sale 1929 Morris minor. It is a 4 seater convertible with the overhead cam engine. Was part of a large private collection of vehicles belonging to a gentleman who recently passed away. I purchased 4 of these vehicles. Morris had a nut & bolt rebuild in 1999 for which I have dozens of photographs and bills for over 10k. Restoration included 5k engine re-build and new ash frame. New hood. tonneau and interior amongst a massive parts bill. Car was liberated from dry storage by myself recently where it had not turned a wheel since 2007 due to ill health of previous owner. The car however is still in amazing condition and with a days tinkering is running. driving and stopping perfectly. It also has a new tax disc and MOT. Although it is MOT exempt I had it tested to prove it is roadworthy. All electrics work fine. Recently drove 30 miles to a show without any problems. Morris is as good as the day restoration was finished apart from 2 minor items. some paint flaking on bulkhead ( looks like bad prep work) and a small hole in one Perspex window on side panels ( which are also new and otherwise perfect ). If these low cost faults were sorted car would be faultless. Been in same family since 1960 and comes with full V5C all photos. paperwork. receipts. cranking handle and the original owners manual! Which I am told is rare. Also included in sale is original no. Plate which is JN 155 and is still transferable and has been valued at £3000-3500. Had thought about selling plate separately but decided it would be a shame as it is part of the cars original history. Viewing is recommended. Workshop and ramp facilities available for inspection.
