Subaru lovers- I'm putting this car on auction this time. After two tries to list it for a price - it goes to whomever wants it.   The reserve is the lowest price a running car should go for.   I'd like to see it go to one who can keep it running and knows what it is. It has records from the first owner & up until I had to use organ transplants to keep her going.
I have been the 2nd Owner of the 40 year old car for at least five years.   I have tried my best to care and love it.    Front Wheel Drive. 5 Speed.   Runs great 35 Mpg mixed half highway half town.  Alpine stereo with F&R speakers. cassette tape deck now just stopped functioning.   Rear infinity kappa triaxle's. Custom dual Exhaust with two aftermarket catalysts to clean it up. Electronic fireball Ignition.   Car body has over 300K miles & on third engine. but you wouldn't know it - suspension & track is tight and nearly all has been replaced.   Axles. bearings. calipers. rotors. ball joints. control arm bushings. sway bar bushings front & rear. struts shocks drums pads all with 55K mileage (clutch too) as the mileage with the 82 year completely rebuilt & replaced EA-71 engine.   Odometer replaced over the years just flipped over again reading @ 01. 00. 0 now.
Has some issues - the biggest is the pretty paint on roof is separating its clear coat opening up and rusting beneath I take it. The pictures don't really show the upcoming need for paint. but you will need to address it if you want to protect it from impending corrosion.   The New Mexico Sun is killing it.   Rear engine seal just won't seal in three attempts and a quarter size oil drips to the parking lot & worse leaks over exhaust.   Been using a slick 10-30 AmsOil synthetic should probably go back to the cars era's of conventional Valvoline.  Tach stopped recently.  low beams quit but highs work (No one is annoyed) and you really need them always with such a dim factory light system. low beams are fixable certainly if you can find the loose wire. rain leaks into trunk due to dried old window gaskets. air filter just replaced with aftermarket.     A new paint job or partial repair would make it so. and then hide from the sun or just use it as it was made for. Needs a new caregiver with shelter.  The drivers seat is torn at a seam.   Firestone snow tires are below half life.

I have garaged it over five years until recently when I had to use during broke car season winter 16/2017.   Tons of money & parts were sunk into it to make it reliable.   Trying to be honest in describing its condition.
I am selling because I need a car that can handle the winter carcinogen loaded roads and a 16 year driver in the family that needs a car.   This won't meet the need and likely get thrashed.    Call with any questions.
Will help with any shipping arrangements buyer makes but at buyers expense.   It will go to down the road just fine.   Cute car which everyone loves.   Belongs in a museum or collectors piece. People compliment the car all the time.  looking for the one in a million Subaru lover to take a new hold of it.   I have a lot of parts that can be offered to the highest bidder for a additional deal. Don't need help selling just an interested buyer. Thanks - call with questions 505 363-6817 Jesse
