SELLER REMARKS

Tastefully modified. this stunning 1970 Dodge Super Bee offers a rotisserie restoration to the highest standards. plus a 383 under the hood and a beautiful interior with a lot of custom handiwork that's the mark of a true artist at work. Don't believe me? Just have a look for yourself and be prepared to be impressed.

Experts will take a quick glance at the fender tag and realize that the car has been restored in its original Dark Tan Metallic finish. which today looks spectacular given the advances in paint technology. Restored on a rotisserie. every square inch was put back into like new condition before the paint went on. and the all-new-for-1970 Super Bee looks fantastic without the stripes and flash that were typical of the era. Instead. they focused on making it look clean and sleek. Out back. there's a satin black deck lid spoiler and a beautifully finished center panel. and yes. they did put a pair of Super Bee decals on the quarters. but they're surprisingly subtle. Chrome is bright. the stainless has been polished. and it looks every bit like a concours contender with a few minor tweaks.

The interior has seen the majority of the upgrades on the car. and they're apparent the moment you climb in. The two-tone seats retain their 1970-cool look. offering a set of buckets up front with a trick center armrest that gives the illusion of a split bench. Custom upgrades include the hand-painted faux wood trim on the door panels and dash. as well as a custom steering wheel and pistol-grip shifter for the 5-speed Tremec gearbox. The effect is upscale and seems to blend seamlessly with the original design. and if you're not familiar with these cars it could probably pass for OEM. White faces on the original gauges. including the tick-toc-tach. add to the custom look. and everything is in first-rate condition with very little use. The original Music Master AM radio remains in the dash. but an AM/FM/CD stereo head unit has been neatly installed underneath so you don't have to listen to whatever they're playing on AM radio these days. The trunk also reveals a great deal about the quality of this car. as it includes a matching spare wheel and tire and the coating on the inside of the quarter panels proves that they're the originals. Nice!

A 383 cubic inch V8 was this car's original engine. now upgraded to Six-Pack induction. Stashed under an original air cleaner. the built big block looks awesome in Hemi Orange with finned valve covers and lots of detail. Not quite custom but not original either. it's beautifully presented in a way that demonstrates the care that went into the build. It's also quite potent. exhaling through a set of ceramic-coated headers. and X-pipe. and high-flow mufflers that sound amazing. The chassis is every bit as nice as the rest of the car. highly detailed and showing virtually zero use since it was completed. It's a pleasant surprise to see disc brakes behind all four wheels. which are gorgeous 17-inch Torque Thrusts with spinners and 225/50/17 front and 275/50/17 rear performance radials.

A seriously nice car that needs nothing to show and enjoy this summer. Just get ready for the questions about the custom interior. because people are going to want to get some for themselves. Call today!
