Im looking to build something different. Ive owned this car 20 years and built everything on it. any questions just ask.
The car is actually a 85'. i put a euro 87-88 front end on it. It weighs 3310 with me in it. im 180 lbs. Car has run a best of 10. 61. also has been 1. 47 60 ft and 129 mph on motor. I posted 2 time slips i could find. This car has had hundreds of passes on it and if you want to bracket race it. it repeats like a copy machine. I just freshened the motor 2 months ago. she is turn key and ready to race. Fresh paint 4 years ago. body is 99% straight. here are the details.
406 SBC. Eagle 4340 crank. Eagle H-beam rods. ATI balancer Weisco Flat-top pistons AFR 227 CNC heads Brodix HV 1 intake / Holley 950 Comp stainless rockers 1. 6 int / 1. 5 exh. Stud Girdles Custom Crane cam. Specs come to buyer and compression. you have to run it on 112 Heddman 1 7/8 headers. 3 1/2" exhaust. flowmasters MSD with 2-step. I footbrake the car Trans is a TH-350 with 8" ATI convertor. 4500 stall. No transbrake. Cheetah SCS shifter PST driveshaft with driveshaft loop 9" Ford rear with Strange center section. 4:10 gear and Moser axles 8 gal fuel cell. Mallory 140 pump.
Electric cooling fan and pump Mini-tubbed. S& W Anti roll bar 10 point NHRA certified cage Weld prostars. 15 x 5 front moroso tires and 15 x 10 rears with a 275 MT drag radial. 10 passes on these tires they are like new 5 point harness and window net
The only thing this car needs is the interior needs a little finishing. just door panels and swap the seats. steering wheel etc if you want.
