This 1967 Shelby GT 500 with 428CI engine. C6 automatic transmission has been owned and cared for by the fourth owner(a Ford Senior Master Tech) since spring of 1975. It was listed in the first Shelby registry and still wears its orginal black and yellow Ca plates and selling dealers plate frames. While it has never been restored it. has been well maintained. It was repainted its original Ivy Gold in the late 1990's by Jeff Dunn of Golden West restorations. The interior has had door panels and carpet replaced the rest is how it came from Shelby. The engine/transmission are original to the car but were rebuilt 25. 00 miles ago. The 428 still sports its original 2 four barrel carb set up and transmission has had a shift kit added to it as well. Suspension wise the front control arms have replaced over the years with NOS pieces and the GT500 still sports its period correct Koni's. It also has factory power disc brakes and power steering. It was also featured in the 2009 Snap-On tool calendar.
