1998 C5 CONVERTIBLE.

This Corvette is a 1998 C5 Convertible of the finest order. Warranted only 53. 25 miles from new with a fully stamped up service history. In fact there are 7 stamps in the correct GM book. The car comes complete with it's original leather owner's wallet etc. This is a USA car that was brought in to the UK direct from Potamkin Chevrolet as a brand new vehicle on 1998 with a delivery mileage of 10 miles. This may very well be the first C5 Convertible registered in the UK.

Triple black. the black paintwork is superb. the black leather interior is superb. and the black soft-top is like new. The wheels have just been fully refurbished and powder coated plus all new centre caps. I believe the exhaust is a Corsa Sports and the car has stainless mesh inserts to all grills. Finally it has a chrome rear letter set. The trunk lid & hood have expensive Eckler liners installed. There's the optional Bose Multiplayer trunk mounted.

The headlights have been upgraded to a much higher output and please check out the door mirrors. Expensive glasses have been installed that look totally original until you indicate. then a red arrow flashes. I haven't seen a similar set in the UK.

THE CAR HAS RECENTLY HAD ALL BRAND NEW CROSS DRILLED & GROOVED ROTORS FRONT & REAR PLUS ALL NEW YELLOWSTUFF PADS.

Not a lot left to say. EXCEPT THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE FINEST EXAMPLES YOU WILL FIND ANYWHERE.  The engine bay is as clean as you will find with none of the usual decay usually found on the rail tops. Absolutely no crazing that's often found to front & rear cones. Carpets. door cards. centre console etc all as new. The rear trunk area appears not to have been used.
