1965 Plymouth Barracuda for sale
Current customer rating: (215 votes ) based onThis 472 Hemi Barracuda was built with an open checkbook and has less than 500 street miles on it since completion. It has never seen a drag strip and is in near perfect condition. This is a one of a kind custom Hemi Mopar like no other you will find. It is a 1965 Plymouth Barracuda with a Procharged water injected professionally built 472 Hemi that dynoed out at over 1000 HP. I have receipts and pictures of the build and a dyno video with all documentation. Major modifications were done to stiffen the chassis and to the engine bay to accommodate the engine size and blower placement. The roll cage was integrated inside the front fenders and runs all the way from the front of the car to the back. It has an independent adjustable coil-over front suspension. mini tubed and the rear wheel arches were raised 3". The radiator was also built into/behind the grill to give a clean "Engine only" look to the engine bay. The list goes on and on. Building this car was no small undertaking. and it was built to be street driven. as well as for the strip. It is very well mannered and surprisingly easy to drive on the street. so don't let the insane amount of power scare you away. You won't find another pro built Hemi Mopar like this one anywhere. Especially one that has been built to this standard with this kind of attention to detail and high quality throughout. This Barracuda runs on 93 octane pump gas and was built to be NHRA and Street Legal and includes removable wheeley bars. Below are just a few highlights of the build.
