1960 Plymouth Fury Convertible

Gorgeous. Fast and Luxurious.  A powerful Max Wedge Chrysler 413 c. i. engine. 4 barrel Holley Carburation. Torqueflight three speed automatic transmission.  One of one of the most valuable cars of the Big Fin Era.  

Similar to a Chrysler 300 Letter Car. this car has Chrysler 300 (power driver side) bucket seats.   To say it ‘gets up and goes' is an understatement.   This car was built to run on unleaded regular gas.

The Coral Rose paint is offset by the cream color front fender accent and beige top make this one of the most beautiful color combinations of the Big Fin Era.   The interior was designed to highlight the luxury of an Imperial convertible. using the highest quality materials. including matching padded dash.

The Steering Wheel. interior. top. top boot and trunk are all newly restored.   The mechanical condition of the car is "get in and drive it anywhere".

This car has been modified with a floor shift and console (push button shift as was standard).  

The car is equipped with Power Steering. Power Disk Brakes and “Hi-Fi” optional Radio. you cruise down the road in your own version of the Jetson's space ship!  The hydraulic top goes up and down with the twist of a knob.

The unique “Aero Steering Wheel” is a legend of styling. and has been newly re-cast in Sparkle-filled Lucite. and is an eye-catching feature.   The dual exhausts give the car the sound of the 1960's.

This car's unique charisma is wrapped in shiny polished stainless trim at all four corners. including optional and rare stainless fender skirts.   Original era BF Goodrich wide white wall tires are accented with “turbine” stainless steel hubcaps (from 1959 Imperial. )

Some 1960 Fury Convertibles have fetched over $200. 00 at auction. showing that they are a prime investment.

This car is a convertible that was built from a '60 Plymouth Fury Hardtop.   All convertible parts are stock and operate as original. The convertible body was mostly replaced with parts from a rust free Southern California Fury hardtop.    The car is titled as a convertible.

This automobile is a used vehicle. over 50 years old. and has wear and tear to many of it's components. No warranties or representations are made for you to rely upon without your own viewing or inspection.

The Coral color is not original to this car or year.  The clock and the heater do not work. The motor and transmission came from a later model Chrysler vehicle.   The front brakes are power assisted disks and not original.   The paint quality is very good. but not showroom.   There is no spare tire or jack.
