This is a very rare. very solid Ford F 100 panel van fitted with a Ford Mustang 302 cc V 8 engine. This van was customized professionally approx 20 years ago in America where it was fitted with a Buick 455 Big block. Buick brakes and Hubs and power steering so it could handle the power with a speed tuned gear box. It was used successfully on the drag strip. but I wanted a tow vehicle for my Historic racing Car so I had the engine swapped for a Ford 302. The van still goes very well with the Buick Brakes etc making it a pleasure to drive.
The body work is very solid with a Buick metallic blue lower section and white upper part. Unfortunately in those days. side windows were the trend and it has been fitted with an ugly side window on the UK off side. This is something I was going to get removed and can still get this done if the buyer wants at a reasonable cost. The other body mod is the fitting of Buick back lights? O. K I suppose but I was going to put Fiat Coupe Lights in the original light position?
The van was MOT'ed up until July last year and has sat in a shed since. I have too many toys and can not use all of them. I now tow my race car with a Chevy Camper so the van has become redundant.
The windscreen is cracked but there is a good one included in the sale.
The van has all the documents and is Tax free.
