This is my stunning Porsche 356 Speedster completed and registered in 2011 - its almost brand new!

Painted in Porsche Condor yellow (#6010).

Built carefully and with no expense spared over 3 years. to correct IVA test requirements (passed Aug 11) and registered on an age related 1970 plate. The quality speaks for itself and was last year presented with a commendation award at Stoneleigh.


The chassis was stripped. blasted. shortened and finished in red oxide and chassis paint. The floor pan has been strengthened professionally by The Speedster Clinic. The chassis is then strengthened further using a Pilgrim subchassis. Bodywork sealed. High quality undersealer applied.  The body and sub chassis is by Pilgrim (L&B).

All components on the car are new:

Rebuilt 1641cc air cooled engine using an 'AR' coded engine (stronger basis for increasing capacity). with twin port carbs. new coil and distributor. fuel pump. custom made stainless steel twin exhaust by Longlife. engine bay chrome work.

Brand new Freeway Flyer gearbox with a longer 4th gear for improved motorway cruising speeds - very comfortable at 70mph.

New shocks. brake calipers. steering damper. brake discs. hubs. brake master cylinder. steering box. track rods. bushes. pipes. wiring etc.

HEATED windscreen.

HEATED seats.

Custom made chestnut interior using high quality leather hide.

Hidden stereo amp which runs mp3/usb/mobile phone.

A lot of rework was completed by The Speedster Clinic as some previous work that I was unhappy with needed completing. This included the interior being trimmed. windscreen. side windows and tan roof. high quality german box weave carpet. sound insulating. electrical work. post IVA body changes and repainting.   To ensure the colour was not a poor match. I had the car totally resprayed.

Tax is £118 for 6 months.  If you see a car not taxed its likely its not been registered properly. Check the log book and numbers.  
Insurance is £130 fully comp agreed £25. 00 rebuild value with breakdown cover!  :)

The car is priced to sell. having cost me more than £26k to complete.  I will consider sensible offers.
