Up for auction is a 1970 Chevy Nova Super Sport. This Nova Super Car has just been the recipient of an over $70 k frame-off. rotisserie. every nut & bolt restoration. It has 173 miles since the restoration and this has got to be one of (if not

the best ) 70 big block Nova’ s in the country!

The

paint

is Green Mist and it is absolutely National show quality in every aspect. The paint is as slick as glass with a mirror finish and it looks to be a foot deep. I could not find a mark or imperfection on the car. The body is absolutely straight as a gun barrel and the gaps look like the car was put together with a feeler gauge. The glass and rubber is perfect. The trim. bright work. chrome. lens covers. door handles. mirrors. and every nut and bolt absolutely brand new and perfect. It has a brand new set of Firestone Wide Oval F 70-14’ s on factory wheels with the flat hubcaps. The stance is perfect. The car is as perfect as I have seen.

The

interior

is all brand new as well including headliner. carpet. seats. door panels. kick panels. package tray. seat belts. knobs. trim. and you name it. It’ s nice. It has bucket seats. console. factory tachometer. factory gauges. and a factory working AM/FM stereo. The glove box is concealing the MSD 6 AL Box as he didn’ t want it under the hood as he wanted the complete correct factory look.

The

engine

is a Chevy 496 c. i. Stroker rated at 650 horsepower! It has a

4. 250-inch stroke crank along with 6. 385-inch rods. The 454 block was cleaned. checked. and rough bored before finish honing the cylinders. with a torque plate. to . 060-over. He also line-honed the block and cleaned up the decks. All Internals are performance top name brand & quality. On the outside of the motor it looks as factory as possible with an aluminum intake. Holley 750 cc double pumper. Hooker ceramic coated headers. chrome valve covers & breather. all new GM hoses. lines. clamps. and fittings. new correct radiator and supports. and a new steering box. Under the hood is perfect. clean. neat. and show quality all the way.

The

transmission

is a new rebuilt Muncie M 21 4-speed. The clutch and every nut and bolt is new. The rear end is a Chevy 12-Bolt with a new 3. 73 gear and positive traction of course.

The

underside

of the car is as clean as the top with every line. nut. bolt. and fitting new. The floors are polished and all supporting cast. It has new fuel tank. shocks. springs. tie rods. and so forth. The car is beyond nice!

Ok with all that said now the best part is the ride and drive. This car runs. rides. drives. handles. and brakes perfectly. It starts up with one turn of the key and it is dialed in and tuned just right. It sounds great also. This car is dependable and easy to drive. Yes it has a lot of power if you need it but it is very good cruising as well.
