This all original 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Brougham is for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. The A body was released in a 78 as a totally redesigned much smaller and sleeker car. Taking from the import market as the big and over the top American styling was on its way out since MPG’s were getting more and more important. Recently these low mileage clean cars have had a surge in popularity as there is nothing that drives quite like these Old Cutlass’s. Many will say it’s the little car that feels rides like a big car. This 79 is Cutlass is a great example of why people have had such a love affair with them. The original paint is clean and shines extremely well for being 38 years old. It is a light green. ivory. minty. bluish color. Not something you will see on today’s cars. The rally wheels have matching paint on the inside with chrome trim rings making that color even more pronounced. The classic white wall adds that distinctive classy touch. Under the hood is a rare find. The 260 was an engine manufactured by Oldsmobile and used only in Oldsmobile’s this was one of the smoothest running and most durable engine OLDS ever produced.
