HONDA HARRIS RH 28
This car is a complete `one off `. & therefore the only one in existence.
It was built by Ray Harris the owner of Ray Harris engineering. /strong>
from Eastleigh in Hampshire . acing car constructors.
Being the last car he ever built. (no 28)
It was built in his retirement. just as a hobby project.
The car is based on a Morgan 3 wheeler theme.
The `doner` vehicle being a Honda Goldwing motorbike.
The car has the 1100cc ohc flat four Goldwing engine driving through the standard Goldwing sequential 5 speed gearbox (no reverse) & wet clutch. nbsp;to the Goldwing rear swinging arm & shaft drive.
The car was origionally fitted with the 1000cc engine. but replaced with the very much improved 1100cc unit by myself.
The chassis is tubular steel box section welded construction.
The bodywork is aluminium hand formed.
The front suspension is torsion bar with BMC trunions. hubs & discs to Ray Harris design.
THE CAR IS AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT TO OWN & DRIVE. IT IS COMFORTABLE. YERY USEABLE. & FANTASTIC FUN. nbsp;& THE EXHAUST NOTE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
The very reluctant reason for it`s sale!!!
We have a home in France & are moving there semi permanently & it is just not practical to take it.
It will have a new MOT
I have recently fully overhauled the brakes & fitted a new battery.
I have owned it since 2004 (9 years) & purchased it from Ray Harris himself.
It has done 4600 miles
I have the v5 reg doc
There are lots of spare parts to go with it. including the original engine.
