 Rover 3500s P6 Manual

Here we have for sale my Rover P6s which was first registered in 13/4/1973 and was owned by its first owner for 38 years who then sold it to a collector. The collector then moved abroad and I was lucky enough to purchase it about 1 year ago. I had never owned a classic car before and thought this was a good place to start.

Since I purchased the car I have done nothing to it apart from drive it approx 2000 miles in total. These miles have been done with no issues from the car at all. I have taken the car to 2 classic car shows and a classic car meeting (Brooklands - New years day 2013) where there have been a few P6's and I have not seen 1 anywhere as good condition as this in my opinion. The bodywork all over has been restored by its previous owner and is pretty much immaculate in original lunar grey colour. No rust. dents or marks anywhere and the paintwork is particularly well done. The chrome is also excellent.

Inside the car it is totally original and the only real fault is the gearstick gaiter has a small hole. The rear parcel shelf and the back of the headrests have suffered from sunburn so the leather is discoloured. The rubber seals around the rear windows all look original but with some slight cracking - the car is totally water tight however. The vinyl roof is immaculate and the overall interior is in very good condition bearing in mind the age of the car. (It still smells of 1973 when you open the door).

The MOT expires on the 13th May 2013 but I will put a new one on it before it is sold. The car rides extremely well and it goes into all gears nicely and it still pulls like a train. The car has a stainless steel exhaust and it sounds lovely.

As said before this is my first classic car and I am not a mechanic but I know of no problems with the car. The car has some service history but not all but I have all previous MOT's dating back to 1983 with lots of receipts. The car also has its original owners manual and garage brochure from when the car was purchase new.

I am only selling this car due to my new expanding business - and if I could I would keep it locked up in my garage for many many years but I would rather let someone else have the pleasure of this fantastic car. I have been extremely truthful with this car ad unlike many people on the internet and I really do think this is one of the best out there.

Viewing more than welcome and is advised to appreciate this car in full. The car is located in Woking. Surrey. Test drives also welcome with proof of insurance and driving license.

Cash on collection or cleared bank transfer. Serious buyers only - please do not waste my time. I am in no rush to sell this car so no stupid offers - know what this car is worth.

Call me on 07592020861 or message me if you have any questions.

Thanks for looking.
