1958 BMW Isetta 300
Five years ago. I started restoring the car and completely disassembled it.  I had the body media blasted so that it was & is still free of rust. except for a few small holes on the original battery box. Upon completion of painting the body (with the original color birch green). I started working on the frame restoration; I then discovered that the chassis number located on the passenger side is not stamped on the frame. Since I already invested time and money in the restoration and purchase of replacement parts. I decided to continue the restoration project with the knowledge that the non-matching numbers may impact the value of the car. After much time and energy spent on the restoration. I recently completed restoring the Isetta and it is now for sale.  The car is mechanically sound. everything in working condition and ready to drive.
