Less than 300 right-hand drive UK market Austin-Healey 100/6 BN 6 models were built. with the vast majority of 4150 built being left-hand drive destined for America. Making this original RHD example a very rare car indeed.
This '59 100/6 is the more desirable two-seater BN 6 variant. It's finished in red with a red interior. black hood and chrome wire wheels.
It's an older restoration that still looks extremely smart. Its last owners had the car for fifteen years and have not stinted on its upkeep and maintenance. We have all the bills from their ownership detailing the work done. including a rebuilt gearbox. rebuilt steering box. new brakes. suspension work (bushes. kingpin kits. new rear leaf springs etc. ) along with regular servicing.
The engine is extremely smooth and quiet with excellent oil pressure. It's a delight to drive and has been regularly used for long-distance touring. Values of early Healeys are rising fast making this rare car excellent value for money.
