Up for auction is my '71 Plymouth Road Runner. It is a very nice driver that was totally restored to be just that. a driver.   Most of the work was done in the early 2000's.   I have a ton of receipts that exceed $20. 00. to include engine and transmission rebuild. interior. suspension. brakes. body and paint.   The vinyl top was replaced as well.   The car was originally a 383 car. but it was restored with a 1969 date coded HP2 440 block. the same motor that the 69 Six Pack/Six Barrel cars came with.   The 727 T/F is original to the car. as well as the 3:55 Sure Grip rear end. The car was originally an air car. but the components are long gone.   Car is an original power disk brake and power steering car.   This car is a Canadian built car. but built to U. S. specs. hence the 150 mph speedometer.   It has original fender tag.   This is an original lemon twist Road Runner.

This Road Runner starts. runs and drives very well.   No smoking. weird noises or smells coming from drive train.   It brakes very well and in a straight line. There are a few blemishes (minimal) in paint (chips. scratches. etc) but it shows very well.   The car is a nice ten footer. local car show. cruiser.   I drove it on a 150 mile round trip two weeks ago.   It appears to have all of its original sheet metal. The under side looks very nice and rust free. as shown in pictures.   All gauges. lights and turn signals work.   The interior is nice with two exceptions.   There is one crack on top of the dash and the original AM radio is missing. but the dash was not cut up when it was removed.   The seats are nice with no rips or tears. Carpet and headliner are both nice.   Tires are new Cooper Cobras wrapped around Magnum 500's.

If you'd like more specific pictures. please call.   This is a nice car that you can get in and enjoy right now.   It is not a trailer queen by any means. and I'm not selling it as such.   All receipts of all work done over the last 15-16 years go with the car.   Inspections prior to bidding are welcome.   Call or text me with questions at 706-836-4410. My name is Andy. The car has a clear GA title in my name. No tire kickers or third party sellers. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Please. serious bidders only.

I failed to mention that the transmission was rebuilt by a Mopar guy three months ago. no junk. it was a quality rebuild with quality parts.   The outside mirrors look like crap on the car in my opinion. They are cheap plastic aftermarket. Since the fender tag does not specify outside mirrors and there is no build sheet with the car. specifying which mirrors came on it (painted sport. chrome sport or the standard). the new owner can spend between $175 and $350 and install whichever they chose. (Knew I'd forget something. )

All glass is good. except for a vertical scratch in the driver's side door glass. All stainless is good with no dents or dings. Grill is perfect.   Someone emailed about exhaust. I think it's 2 1/4. all stock from the HP manifolds through stock turbo mufflers.
