1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Pace Car - VIN M 296641 Pace car was one of the cars assigned by GM to serve during the Indy 500 festivities. This is car #79.
Trim Tag has the Y 74 code denoting the Pace Car option. And coded for bucket seats. Pace Car underwent a complete frame-off restoration. Photos of the restoration can be provided. Original 1970 fenders are on the car. Many NOS or restored original parts were used. Original engine rebuilt by one of the best here. TH 350 and rear also rebuilt. Original OAI hood and lower air cleaner assembly. Seats recovered using Legendary upholstery. Aluminized exhaust. Spiral shocks. Convertible top redone to OEM standards unlike 99% of the convertibles out there. Disc Brake system all restored. Stainless fuel and brake lines.
Original A/C system except for one repro hose - did not recharge system. All hardware redone to either black phosphate or silver finish. Top flight resto. Email with any questions or for more photos.
