1958 Austin Healey Other Roadster

Nice Healey . this is my customers car who is retiring and moving. He has too many cars for new residence It has been restored correctly. No hack patch job all repairs where done at factory seams. Frame has reinforcements inside to take flex out When viewed from bottom can not be seen. Has factory heat shields. Stainless exhaust . fitted nice!New wheels and tires. spare. Trunk finished as factory. . does have a small scuff on gas filler cover. not bad see photos No tools or Jack. Int is nice factory with piping. Moths have gotten to a spot between rear seats. see photo. Carpet good . dash good. Gage's redone .

Steering wheel new.

Everything is either new or rebuilt to as factory. This car has never been driven in the rain.

Starts great runs great.

Looks great.

All and all a good car to be proud of. I wish I could buy it. Detailed eng compartment down to correct decals .

Very low mileage since restoration. Speedo was recently redone and set to 50000 now reads 50005 Cylinder head has hardened seats and resurfaced so valve lash is now . 005 to . 008. Carbs rebuilt to include shafts bushed and are tight . and are the original to the car they are tuned and trustworthy All chrome great no scathed spots. new or rechromed

In order to be completely honest and so there are no disappointments The following blemishes are ::Small bubble next to grille in aluminum surround maybe between 1/8 in dia. Ding in left fender bead (see photo) I fixed best as possible and would not be noticed At first had I not pointed out Moth blemish as stated above Top does not fit all to well. Has slide type frame suspect top is the post type

Moss list the two. Ton. Present and good slight spot near a snap started to go. Maybe 1/4 in. Overdrive did not engage on last test drive . has electric to it and overdrive has been rebuilt . suspect soilinoid munged up. I. having a hard time thinking of anything else wrong All this sounds worse than it is but I am aiming for full discloser.

I under stand the difficulty in buying a car online I bought one (a Bentley ) and after flying in to pick up there where things I wish I had been told about. Did not stop me from buying just wish I had been told. It's not my car so I have nothing to gain or hide or lose. Would feel best if you actually looked at this unit before purchase. or had a agent look for you.
