Hi.
This auction is for a very clean and tidy Rover Mini Racing Green Flame Checkmate Special Edition!
It has been dry stored for the last 6 years although it has been started regularly since then. Previous to being parked up it has had lots of time and money spent on it.
It has.
Rev counter fitted as standard
An immaculate interior. No rips to door-cards. seats. headlining. floor mats and no cracks in the dash.
New exhaust.
New shock absorbers.
Poly-bushed suspension all round.
All engine rubber hoses have been replaced with silicone.
Minispares. com inlet manifold fitted (supplied with original)
5 x Minilite alloys in good condition. 4 x tires are fitted with Michelin MXL tyres with good tread.
Clear rear lights fitted (originals included.
Sony CD player with rear shelf speakers. 4 x 50 W
Air horns fitted.
Rear after-market parking sensors fitted.
Chrome interior handles fitted.
As for rust. there is none evident in the boot for starters!!! It had 3 small plates welded on the chassis in 2005 and that's it! There is some rust on the A panels but the car is supplied with new ones if you wish to replace them rather than have them repaired. There is minor rust bubbling on the front end but nothing major. It has just been oiled underneath to hold the tin-worms at bay. Overall it's in excellent condition considering just how badly these things rot!
The vehicle drives very well indeed. especially considering its age! It will be supplied with 12 months MOT. Minis are few and far between in this condition in my opinion and this should be a sound investment for any future owner.
