1966 SUNBEAM TIGER MARK 1A---This is the car the Carroll Shelby made into a monster.  This is a rare beast.  Only about 2800 of these were made in 1966.
These cars are really cool and feel like you are glued to the road.  This car has alot of its original parts that go with it. The original 260 is still there--runs great--no smoke. has a ton of power--upgraded with a newer Holley 4bbl and Edelbrock alum intake.  The orig 2bbl and intake come with car. There has been alot of recent mechanical work done.  New Mini-Lite Wheels and tires.
This car has spent time out west in CO and OK--then has been in NC for the last few years and now MD.  I have two notebooks of receipts and and other papers.  
This is the original color of the car--very rare.  The original trim plate and JAL tag are in place.  The car has an older paint job and has a few bubbles and chips.  It is a driver for now--paint it later if you want.  The soft top is in very good shape--the rear window is a bit cloudy--just keep it down.  Also included is the HARD TOP.  
The interior is in good shape--the seats are original.  There is some splitting in the seams--nothing terrible.  The rear hatch is there to access underside behind passenger seat.  Carpets are nice.  The car has a modern steering wheel. the original comes with car.
The car is a DRIVER--there are nicks and some bubbles and scratches.  It is something to have fun with now and paint and fix up as you go.  Original Wheels/Tires and Hubcaps also go with.  Also have orig Brake Booster.
