DODGE RAM 1500 SLT Laramie 1994 - rear wheel drive - not 4x4

We bought this truck in 2009 to move furniture and equipment out to France for a house renovation and now the house is almost done unfortunately she has to go as we just don't use her enough.

The truck has been super reliable. it always starts on the button and drives pretty much like a large car. it will cruise at 70+ all day and you can have a conversation and listen to the radio/CD (unlike my old diesel chevy pickup!!)

4 x Almost new all terrain tyres - loads of tread. Chrome wheels

She has a few scratches. dents and some rust coming through on both doors at the bottom. some rust on both sills. factory tinted glass all good.
New euro style headlights. front fog lights. rear fog light. drivers side air bag. cruise control works perfectly. aircon need gassing and not sure about aircon cooler panel (corroded). towing hitch and working electrics. heavu duty bed liner. new tail gate cables. factory fitted roof running lights. power steering.

Interior is grey plush and clean. seats not saggy with no rips. dash has no cracks. roof lining is ok. carpets are a little grubby. door panels all good and never been cut about. plenty of storage behind seats in full width cubby tray. electric windows. sliding rear window. electric mirrors. central locking. 3 seat belts. center seat back storage box. has a good Panasonic CD/Radio. Infinity speakers as factory standard.

The engine is a V8 Magnum 318cui and shows 165k-  It sounds strong and the oil pressure comes straight up and stays rock solid at just over mid way 40psi on the gauge when hot or cold. engine has no rattles or smoke. doesn't leak or burn oil. it pulls strong and starts first time even when left for a month or so. clutch was replaced just before I bought it and it changes gear smoothly with no crunching etc and will cruise at 70mph @ 2000rpm. it has under bed LPG tanks (no space lost or wasted in the truck bed like some other installations I've seen)

The best bit is that she runs on LPG. being my first LPG vehicle I was a little sceptical at first. I'm now very much an LPG fan. its easy - you fill up via the lpg filler on the rear quarter and the truck will do 300 miles on a full tank and at 74p litre that works out cheap. and of course runs well on unleaded as well.

This truck is not a show winner. it does look presentable even though it has some rust and dents etc -  but it's great to drive. has the perfect V8 rumble. great around town and on the motorway. cheap to run and reliable. will make a great tow vehicle or solid working truck.

12months MOT advisories on front suspension springs both corroded. both sills corroded - not considered major fault as outside of seat belt anchor point area (though in my opinion they will need patching as water/moisture will be getting in)
