An Elusive Survivor.

ng example of a true stock time capsule) is in excellent condition. Purchased new and spending it's first 22 years in California. this rust free beauty moved with the family abroad to Va in 2004.

It was driven twice a week on average. but always garage kept.

It has never seen salt or harsh weather.

The 4 wheel drive was only engaged from time to time to keep all the moving parts working and lubricated.

Original 76 k miles and used on average at just over 2 k miles a year.

It's a rare original find! Everything except the camper shell is just as it came from the showroom floor. It has 4 wheel drive on demand with manual locking hubs. It has a strong 22 R engine that just received a full inspection. tune up and oil change (paperwork available).

It also has a sliding rear window that functions perfectly.

All doors. door jams. weather seals etc work properly.

All light switches. gauges. shifts. levers etc work as they should.

This truck has been family owned since new purchase. having all scheduled maintenance since such time.

Everything is original including up and through the factory tool kit.

Condition: Just a little surface oxidation as it's original paint has peeled a bit on roof and parts of the hood - primer was applied to prevent rust. THERE IS NO BODY WORK. BONDO. OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF REPAIR WORK OR TOUCH PAINT TO THIS CLEAN AND STRAIGHT BODY.

NO ACCIDENTS! All Original Paint (look at pics)

Interior: There are two small minor cracks in dash pad (can be left and not a problem but also a cheap repair).

Factory A/C ice cold and has not been converted believe it or not. Upholstery and liners are absolutely stunning. looking almost as original when new (see pics).

The Bonus: Brand new tires just put on about 100 miles ago. brand new brakes & rotors. and brand new wheel bearings.

All of the above described work was recently done a few weeks ago (receipts for all this available).

A full top to bottom inspection has been done. including the transmission (report also available).

I have well over $1800 dollars in this last maintenance and repair.

This will yield some new lucky owner a long time of worry free miles and peace of mind!

There was no expense spared in making sure this time capsule truck would be 100% and ready to go to a new home or collector's show room. The mechanics who just preformed the above described service were in total amazement at the condition of the truck. the transmission. the body. and the overall condition.

Even the tires when replaced had the original rubber that simply floored the Toyota Dealership people! I can tell you that by the end of the day. the buzz about this truck around the dealership ended up in the owner's office and an offer to purchase was made to me on the spot!

Truck was inspected on June 3. 2016 by the International Vehicle Association Network - inspection available to serious buyers.

Conclusion: An rare original-owner time capsule truck like this comes around very infrequently and for those of you who wait patiently to find one - HERE IT IS! This is as original as it gets! When trucks like this do come around. they don't last.

Just check and see how fast these auctions have ended or how much these trucks are fetching (well north of my buy it now).
