1970 bond bug in very good usable condition older restoration. comes with new interior parts recently fitted new clutch. new clutch slave cylinder and push rod. new wheel cylinders all round and brake flexi hoses. car fitted with lumenition electronic ignition car to be sold with original dunlop alloys with new falken tyres fitted car is fitted with 850 gear box converted to hydraulic clutch some spares available with the car i. e. original gear box in good condition and 2 minilite style rear wheels in as new condition and other bits and bobs. cars covered approximately 52k miles and i have quite a bit of service history with the car old mots and receipts ect. car is currently manx registered but the uk mot still runs until the end of the year. the car is a preston built bug and was originally "H" registered and a 700 es model. all photos were taken july 2013 and viewing is highly recommended as its a 43 year old car. can be delivered to the ports of liverpool. heysham and possibly irish ports for £100

to answer a few questions i've been asked about the bug. /span>
the colour of the car is a very good match to the original reliant tangerine paint that most bugs were painted in.
i have the trim that goes across the steering arm but cannot fit it at present as i've had to modify the arm to get in the car. i also have a standard steering arm.
i fitted new propshaft universal joints a couple of months ago as the old ones buzzed a bit.
there is as previously mentioned a large folder full of all kinds of paperwork relating to the car i. e old mot's and receipts for all kinds of work that has been done to the car over the years.
since the pictures were taken earlier this week i have taken the bootlid off the car. stripped it back and restored it to it's original factory condition.
the bug is used regularly and is fully legal and can be driven away in any weather providing of course you have insurance cover.
