For sale is my great looking Rover P 3 75 Sports Saloon. with Black Coach Work and Dark Red Leather Interior. The registration is the original plate from 1948 as registered by a lady from Frinton on Sea. The Rover has covered a genuine 77 k miles with service history and old mot's to confirm the mileage. There have been 4 previous owners from new. one owner has owned the Rover twice. I have owned the Rover 2 yrs and in this time I've had the complete interior replaced in leather including the door cards and seats. New carpets including the boot. efurbished sunroof and a new head lining. ll carried out by The Trim Shop in Redditch.
This year has seen the gearbox refurbished by Universal Transmissions in Kidderminster and also a higher ratio diff has been fitted to improve modern day driving. The Rover will cruise at 70 mph all day at reasonable engine revs.
This Rover is the rarer 4 light Sports Saloon with Mot to April 14. although not needed. Registered August 1948 with Chassis No 8430852 and Engine No SLD 1452040.

Has a working free wheel to help mpg. drives and brakes really well. The original radio still works as does all the instruments. except the clock. All chrome work is in excellent condition as is the body and chassis. I have all the necessary paperwork including a heritage certificate. riginal hand books. sales brochure and parts manual. There is also a large history file of receipts for work carried including a full engine rebuild not so many miles ago. Runs on unleaded fuel with no additive required.
The Rover can be viewed/ driven either at home near Stourbridge (DY 76 RZ) or in Birmingham (B 160 AH)Many thanks for looking.

Not sure if you'll get this. However, I too have a Rover P3 75 six-light. "Monty" needs replacement carpets. Do you have contact information for The Trim Shop in Redditch?
