1967 Morris Minor Pickup with Rare Canvas Bed Cover
This vehicle is a very original example of a rarely seen iconic British motorcar. Only a handful were imported in 1967. and most were used by BMC dealerships as parts runners or dealership advertising vehicles.
This vehicle is very original. well maintained and is ready to use. That said. please understand it is a 50 year old vehicle. and performance differs from current model cars. It will however provide tons of smiles and positive comments wherever you travel.
The exterior is essentially rust and dent free. with one older repaint in the original Almond geen. Overall. the paint is still shiny with some minor touch ups evident. The newer tan canvas bed cover was made in England to the the original specs. and can be removed if desired.
The interior cab is in very good condition.  with brown vinyl seats in the original pattern. and new original type sun visors. The bed area has some small dents inside as expected. and has aluminum plate flooring in place of the original plywood.
The original 1098 cc 4 cylinder overhead valve BMC "A" series engine runs strong and the 4 speed standard (non synchro first gear) transmission shifts smoothly.   The brakes stop well. and all electrics work properly. The vehicle shows 29K miles which in my opinion appears to be reasonably accurate based upon the overall observed condition. however the odometer does not always register.
Unlike the Morris Minor passenger vehicles which have unibody construction that is prone to rust. the pickup and van versions have a separate frame which provides more rigidity and load capacity. In fact. this vehicle is rated at 1/4 ton. so it can be used with ease for your gardening. antique. or auto repair/sales business. etc. if desired.

A $500. 00 Paypal deposit is required within 3 days of auction close. with the balance paid in cash or cleared funds before the vehicle is released.   I  can assist with loading if needed.
I am listing and storing this truck for a friend. Truck is located in central FL. 60 miles from Disney.
