1976 BMW 2002. 65. 22 miles. Fjord Blue/blue vinyl. present PA owner found & purchased this Los Angeles. Calif. vehicle on a BMW blog and had a bare metal/disassembly. re-paint in the original color. all new rubber trim. inc. the front and rear glass. by a high end body shop in the Philadelphia suburbs. aprox. 2010. Also replaced the materials and had the interior redone with the exception of the headliner.
As you can see in the pictures of under the hood and in the trunk. this is a never rusted example. The car starts immediately with no smoke. transmission and clutch are excellent. smooth and the car is a delight to drive with no unusual noises. etc. No odors from a smoker or pets. always garaged by it's female enthusiast owner. who also has a modern BMW and originally bought this car to replicate one she had when she was much younger. Just doesn't have the time to drive it anymore and would now like to pass it on to someone else. who will get more use out of it.
When they originally purchased the car they assumed the mileage was 165. 00 not 65. 00. so that's what they put on the PA title. But the way this car appears and drives. there is strong evidence that it really had the original miles that's now on the odometer. The a/c was removed. no sun roof. manual transmission. very basic car. receipts for all work done add up to aprox. $15. 00. not including the purchase of the car! Contact Rob Stone. 610-283-9714.
