1998 Chevrolet Corvette

I am putting up for sale my 1998 Corvette convertible show car that I have owned for 10 years. This car started out as a completely stock low mileage car. I spent around four years making it into the award winning car that you see now.  The car has 31. 00 miles on it. but the forged 383 stroker motor has under 5. 00 miles. I have added several thousands of dollars in modifications to this one of a kind corvette. It has won numerous awards at car shows including several best of show awards. It has never been in a show and not won an award. The car has also been featured in Corvette Enthusiast magazine.  You can find corvettes out there that have chrome covers and custom pieces added. but this car has been done right. No expense spared. I had the car completely repainted in 2008 at the cost of over $6. 00. 00. At that time I added a Caravaggio carbon fiber high rise hood. rear spoiler. tiger shark front bumper. and L5 wide body rear quarter panels. I wanted to tuck a large tire under the rear without having to cut anything for clearance. In total I have over $10. 00. 00 in paint and body modifications. Paint is show quality. No flaws to speak of. Only has been driven a couple thousand miles since the repaint. Then I added the 383 stroker motor. It includes an Eagle 4340 forged crankshaft with a 4. 00 stroke. Eagle 4340 forged connecting rods. Upgraded ARP rod bolts. Diamond dished pistons. File fit moly rings. ARP main studs. Ported SLP oil pump. Roll master double roller (Torrington bearing). Patriot stage 3 heads. ARP head studs. Comp cams 1. 75 pro magnum rockers. Comp Cams HD pushrods/guide plates. LPE GT7 camshaft (208/230 554/546 121). Weiand polished intake manifold. Dual cone K&N intake. nbsp;LG Pro long tube headers with high flow cats. B&B quad tip bullet exhaust system. I just added some Siemens Deka 60# injectors last week before I had it put on the dyno.  The engine only had a couple thousand miles on it when I purchased it. It was built for high boost. I currently am running it natural and have had it dyno tuned for running without any boost for now. I intended on adding a supercharger at some point. Had them install a new Textralia clutch and hardened rear output shafts with the engine install so the car would be ready for a lot of horsepower.  Owner of the engine claimed to be getting over 700hp out of the engine setup with twin turbos. Right now it is running 385hp/380 torque to the rear wheels on a Dynojet as of last week. That will put this car over 450 horsepower at the flywheel with the current setup. The car is really fast and sounds amazing. I have over $10. 00. 00 in the engine and exhaust. Next I wanted to offset the black interior so I added a Caravaggio leather steering wheel. torch red painted interior pieces. a pair of chrome seat back hoops. and chrome door hinges. This is probably one of the only C5 corvettes that has these! I spend around $2. 00. 00 on interior modifications.  The car has several other chrome plated items including hood hinges and strikers. trunk hinges and strikers. chrome alternator and bracket. chrome throttle body. nbsp;chrome belt tensioner cover. chrome power steering fluid cover. chrome brake fluid reservoir cover. nbsp;chrome fluid fill covers. and chrome wiper cowl insert. It also has braided hoses in the engine bay and a custom billet catch can installed. The wheels and tires are Chrome replica C6 Z06 wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport run flat tires. 18" front and 19" rear. Rear tire is a 325 series tire with the same offset as a C6 Z06.  I have also installed C5 Z06 brakes with slotted rotors. Has low dust pads with less than 5. 00 miles on them. Some other things are projector headlights. LED tail lights. clear front corner lenses. nbsp;custom stainless steel grill inserts on the tiger shark bumper. and chrome exhaust plate. I have easily around $30. 00 in extras on this car. I am also including an indoor car cover. torch red stretch bra with mirror covers. and a CTEK battery tender with the purchase. I also have the original window sticker and owners manual. Only issues I can speak of at all with the car is that occasionally it has a check engine light for the O2 sensors. and I get a small drop of oil on the garage floor from under the oil pan sometimes. I had to have the two small bolts on the back of the oil pan redrilled and tapped because they were stripped out from the last owner. They torque properly now. but the gasket still has a tiny leak sometimes. This is minor stuff though. I just want to give an honest description of the car. If you want one of the nicest C5 corvettes on the planet this is the car for you! I have over $60. 00 in the car with all of the modifications.

I am starting the auction at the lowest possible price that I will take for the car. I believe this is a very fair price for this low mileage Corvette with over $25000 in modifications.
