Current customer rating:
I bought this car for my husband 5 years ago.
it is 80% restored.
He was finishing it this past winter but unfortunately he passed away.
There is a new top and carpeting inside and in trunk. new radio. new steering wheel. new tires. rims. the right latch was broken and since Hess and Eisenhardt closed he used another latch and modified it to fit.
He had lots of engine work done as well.
Since then the left latch broke and must be replaced as well.
His final project this winter was to wet sand a few dropped in paint areas. have the door jams and trunk jams painted. he was removing the engine which has been serviced to have to compartment cleaned. he had two windows with electrical wiring issues that he was going to address as well.
There was a huge water leak in the trunk when we purchased the car and since the top was done there is still a small leak which was going to repaired as well. He was having the rims adjusted when they put them on the place did not use a washer or something that goes on it and at high speeds it vibrates.
He had the appointment but he was in the hospital.
I drove the car all summer and had a ball.
Its a head turner.
I have the original rims. and radio and lots of new parts for the car.
Moldings. engine lid arms. padding. etc.
I have lots of pictures and can email them to prospective buyers.
