Hi. ere we have my 1969 mk2 mini up for grabs. started off many moons ago as a mini 1000 auto but had been changed to manual sometime before i bought it about five years ago. The shell is in great nick for its age and requires no welding. even the back pockets are intact!!!!. old chap who had it before me since 1982 had waxoiled every nook and cranny on this and i think that is how it has lasted so well. has been welded a little but to a very good standard. sills are the wide type but old sill  has been cut out and they have been seem welded to floor and are very neat. subframes are good with no rot. interior is good for age which is a light blue but front seats are black and has new carpet. all electrics work exept one front indigator. she starts /stops and drives . comes on banded steels that need refurb/tyres are shot (will put cooper steels on if preffered that need refurb)have not really done much to it in five years as way too many toys!!!!!!! have painted the roof white/fitted a proper mk2 boot and fitted wide steels. had plastic arches with naff alloys on when i bought it so have taken arches off and welded screw holes. all in all a great and easy project or reshell a cooper or s as pretty rare to see a mk2 for sale with an original mk2 shell   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!still on hydro suspension

log book up to date and in missus name (3 previous owners)

fire away with questions as i have probarbly missed loads

really needs to be viewed to see how solid and original it is and opinions vary so i would prefer viewings

can be around most days if contacted in advance

going up for sale locally so dont hang about as when its gone its gone
